Nirvana
(The classic Ludo game reimagined)

Nirvana is a reimagined version the beloved game of Snakes and Ladders, a traditional board game with deep roots in Bangladesh and originating in India as a tool to teach children about morality and consequences. For many in Bangladesh, this game evokes a sense of nostalgia, recalling memories of childhood play during rainy, lazy holidays or quiet weekends. Nirvana brings this classic game to life with a fresh perspective, carefully designed to rekindle those cherished memories while offering a new experience.

One side with the regular Ludo game and other side with Snakes & Ladders game, both are designed spirally where going into the centre through gameplay is the winning point of Nirvana (নির্বাণ, freedom), as we connected our mythical folktale of snakes (Naaga) into the game concept. Lastly, inspired from origami, the round board can be folded into a box and the experience of unfolding is always with a surprise of colors & beautiful snakes.
